PhotoMosaics
I think it takes a certain mindset to create one of those photomosaic montages. You know -- the ones where you take a gazillion smaller pictures and paste them together to form a bigger picture. Andrea Denzler has written a freeware program that allows you to take your own pictures and put them into a single composition (it's called AndreaMosaic, of course!). She composed this huge 4.7 Gb mosaic of Van Gogh's Starry Night using thousands of smaller images that you can actually zoom in and see. You can see her Starry Night here.
