How about Condition 1 at the US McMurdo Station down in Antarctica? (Conditon 3 is considered Normal. Condition 2 is Not So Nice. So you KNOW what Condition 1's gotta be!)

This is why I am not impressed with the whole "global warming" thing. Condition1 is actually quite balmy compared to the cold of outer space and outer space is only about 40,000 feet above us.
If we were to take everything that we have available to burn and shoot the works the way the little match girl did...we would not succeed in fending off the cold of outer space.
It's probably been at least a Condition 1 in PEI Canada this past week! Ha Ha!
